Blown glass bead - Red Shift

Handmade lampworked blown hollow borosilicate glass bead. I love making these. The oval shape is quite classic and very tactile, with a comfortable flattened back. This bead has a red base with striations. It has a natural feel, but is also very striking. Being hollow, the bead is lightweight for its size but still has a good, solid feel. The holes are slightly above centre for hanging.
This bead is signed on the reverse with my initials, and comes with 4 matching spacers.

The bead is approx 30mm long, 26mm wide and 15mm thick (though hollow).

Hole size is approx 2mm.

All my beads are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln.
