Hand blown brandy glass

Hand blown brandy glass

Also good for whisky! I usually blow these glasses with a wider base and narrower top so that the drinker has the aroma of the spirit as well as the taste. The hand blown feel of the glass and the detail on the stem makes it feel particularly special. I like a good, peaty single malt in mine.

As with all my work, these glasses are flameworked by hand using a gas-fired torch. They are individually worked and shaped, meaning that each one is slightly different and unique. I don’t use a lathe or machines to form my work – just my hands to guide the glass.
