Log-blown tumblers

Hand blown tumbler glasses

Clear glass tumblers blown into a hollowed-out log. Log found locally to us here in the Lake District and hollowed out to give a rough texture – this transfers to a smoother, but still very interesting, feel on the glass.

These glass tumblers are approximately 5.5cm wide, 12cm high.

As with all my work, these glasses are flameworked by hand using a gas-fired torch. They are individually worked and shaped, meaning that each one is slightly different and unique.
